So I don't find it as difficult anymore to find food.

But for all those who want to eat cooked food or still transitioning to veganism or vegetarianism, I hope this list helps you.

The maps are available on Happy Cow website (www.happycow.net) if you are having trouble finding the place.

Also, if you are a foreigner who can't speak the dialect in Davao, I had these cards 'Ako ay Vegan' / 'I am Vegan' cards printed and they are available at The Vegan Dinosaur, Happy Veg'z, Golden Vegetarian Eatery and Vegan Hygienic Foodhaus.

I will post reviews of each as soon as I can. For now, do check them out yourselves.

Vegan Restos / Eateries

- Vegan Hygienic Foodhaus
(Ecoland; amazing pizzas, by the way!)

- Golden Vegetarian Eatery
(Pichon Street; For very affordable vegan eats)

- The Vegan Dinosaur
(Ruby Street, Marfori Heights)

Vegetarian / Vegan Friendly Places

- Cane Juice Cafe
(Door 2 Edes Bldg., Jacinto Street. Next to Grub Shack. Across from Ateneo University, Jacinto Gate. For tasty sugarcane juice & smoothies. Checkout their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/canejuicecafe/)

- Kong Ai Vegetarian
(Magsaysay Ave., - if into mock meats and/or Chinese dishes; awesome buns!)

- Tsuru Japanese Restos
(Two locations - Abreeza Mall & across the road from People's Park; Just ask for their vegetarian menu)

- Wynward Vegetable Garden (Organic Vegetables)
(At the back of Abreeza Mall)

- Army Navy
(Abreeza Mall; vegetarian burrito - garlic aioli not vegan)

- Gelato on the Road
(3rd floor Gaisano Mall of Davao, Roxas Night Market & Victoria Plaza; they have atleast 4 vegan icecream flavours - durian, taro, jackfruit & almond chocolate)

* Most Filipino restaurants can veganise if requested (i.e Kuya J, Mesa, Hukad)

** Also, fruits are no problem as they are abundant during the season from July to December. But starting November durian & mangosteen prices are increasing slowly).

Questions?
